    Hey powerj,
Thanks for taking an interest in out plugin.
-Yes it will continue to work fully – you’ll just be missing out on updates without a key.
-Not exactly sure what you mean by structured data but the events feed works pretty awesome you can see examples by going to http://www.FeedThemSocial.com

    Hope this helps,

Thanks heaps for the quick reply.

Structured Data or Schema.org will help Google to identify the events – great for SEO. Here’s a good explanation Structured Data

Its just a matter of making sure that the event title, event date etc are wrapped in the correct schema.org tags so that Google can recognise them. I would be happy to help you implement

Pretty interesting new technology be implemented. Something we’ll be discussing. Only question is will it be helpful in this case though since the feed is constantly be updated?

Yes Spencer it is definitely worth it. I’m building 5 websites for a client and structured data is a very important factor. From what I’ve researched Feed Them Social and The Events Calendar are the obvious contenders for these projects and The Events Calendar uses structured data. I really like your plugin though as it seems more streamlined and suited specifically to the task.
Can I move the file from your plugin to the theme directory so I can make the updates? Cheers jenny (at) webtree.com.au

We will keep this in mind and look in to it more. For now you’ll have to just edit the plugin itself file itself…. facebook-feed.php, we don’t have a way to customize the feeds by adding to theme directory.
