    Hi @a0394,

    I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand your question. The pre-order status can be set only to simple products and variations. What do you mean by “considered as variations”?

    Hi, what i meant is that i’d like to know how the plugin addresses the products that are marked as preorders, if for it they now belong to a different post type, or variation, or something.
    Because i’m in need of a filtering plugin that CAN work with these, and there seems to be none, except maybe for SearchWP, which addresses custom post types.

    Hi,
    it is not a custom post type.
    Pre-order use a postmeta (_ywpo_preorder) in order to set a product as Pre-order
