Great plugin! I have been working with it for a few days, and it will be a real life-saver if I can overcome two final problems.

    (1) The first is a big one: I need to preserve the (old) original dates on the items I am importing. I am using WPeMatico to migrate hundreds of posts from an old (non-WP) site (2003-2008 dates). So the plugin rewriting my old dates to the current date defeats the purpose entirely.

Is there a way to disable the date rewrite function?

    (2) WPeMatico is doing a beautiful job finding the first image in the post content, uploading it to my Media gallery, and setting it as “Featured Image.” However, it is also leaving that img src in the content body. Since I have my Featured Image in my WP post template (of course), this results in two copies of the image showing up.

Is there a way to strip out the src for the first image only (after it has successfully been set as the Featured Image)?

Thank you for a great plug-in!

    Hi @darren_s,
For the first use the campaign option “Use feed date”. I think it will help you.

For the second thing, go to plugin Settings page and select the option: Remove Featured Image from content.
