Preserving Markdown to and from WordPress

    I am trying to implement Markdown as the default coding language on my blog. I have tried different plugins, but none of them retains the MD formatting on roundtrip to and from Desktop editor <-> WP. All return HTML coding.

    Is there a solution for this?
