Preserving sample setting on import

Hi there

Is it possible to preserve any sample settings made in a product when doing a bulk prod import – where existing prods have details updated ?

I seem to end up with all my prods having their sample setting reset

Is the sample setting in a custom field ?

if so, I can set my import to not touch that field
