Is it possible to use “radio-image” as “preset” field ?
Not at this point, but it’s something we’re planning to do.

You should use '0' or '1' as the default value (with quotes)

In new update the default value of check box does not work.

Hi again,
Dear Aristeides Stathopoulos, this issue, in GitHub version, is not fixed yet.
At this moment, in GitHub version, the default value affects on for-end but in live customizer (back-end) it stays unchecked.
I’d like to ask to fix this issue in WordPress repository version as I am at the end of releasing my theme so fixing this, will be highly appreciated.
Can you please try the github version now? I believe this was just fixed in the develop branch a few minutes ago

My dear friend,
Unfortunately the issue still exists in github version. In fact if we click on reset button, default value applies correctly but if we create a new checkbox option then default value will noy apply.
