Hi all.. I’m hoping someone can prevent duplicate posts from showing up when using 2 queries.. Basically a “featured post” one and then a “latest posts” one. I’d like only 1 post to show up on the entire page.

Here is the code from the index.php file.. This is called Point Theme. Thanks!

have you reviewed http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/The_Loop#Multiple_Loops_in_Action ?

particular the example after the sub-header ‘Note for Multiple Posts in the First Category‘

Hi alchymyth,

I appreciate the link.. however I’m unfortunately not code savvy enough to know how to insert that into an already established php file… if it was something that matched a standard php template, i could handle… but nothing about that index.php file is standard.

I don’t even see two queries in the code – it might be that some part is coming from a claaed function within that code (?)

maybe the theme’s developer or somebody familiar with the theme might be able to help; please post in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/point
