This is pertaining to just the dashboard and the frontend page, normal without mentioning in premium features. I read a post made on the Dokan Blog that Object cache is good and “now Dokan completely compatible with Dokan Object cache”, so I installed it. But it’s affecting the “Add Product” page and the dashboard by saving aspects there/saving things where they aren’t supposed to be saved. It also affects the login. How do I prevent Object Cache from caching anything in the dashboard. What paths or strings can I add to exclude anything from the dashboard from being affected.

  • Hello @sevenkader,

We understand that you’ve installed an object cache following the information from the Dokan blog regarding its compatibility with object caching. However, you’re experiencing issues where the object cache seems to be interfering with the functionality of the “Add Product” page, dashboard, and even login features by saving data where it shouldn’t be.

To better assist you, could you please share the name of the object cache plugin or tool you are currently utilizing? This information will help us investigate the issue more effectively and provide you with the necessary insight in this regard.

    Thanks!

it’s the one you guys recommended here:

    it’s called Redis Object Cache

    Hello @sevenkader,

We have thoroughly tested the reported issue on our local platform but were unable to reproduce it.

To help identify the root cause, we kindly request that you temporarily enable only the WooCommerce and Dokan plugins. Also please enable the default theme on your site and check the functionality of the cache plugin.

If the issue persists after following these steps, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist you further.

    Thanks!

Hello, the exact problems are happening. I deactivated all plugins including switched my theme just in case. I tested both on my main and stage site.

When you tested, you had Redis caching even the post page? Do you have some type of “do not cache” exclusion list I can have to add to wpconfig please give that to me.

Or if there’s anything else that can be done, please let me know.

    Hello @sevenkader,

Since you have already deactivated all plugins and switched themes but the issue persists, it’s possible that caching is still playing a role.

Did you have a chance to consult with the author of the caching-related plugin? If so, would you mind sharing their insights? They might have specific recommendations for ensuring compatibility with your setup.

Let us know how it goes!

    Thanks!
