Prevent user to replace media

    This is not possible, unfortunately. I am using the WordPress internal function to determine user capabilities, and in my view the “upload_files” capability is the one closest matching what is needed, since there is no longer any “edit_files”.

    I’d be happy to listen to alternate suggestions.
