• After installing a theme (Pen), I noticed the text editor (the one that shows up on textareas, like contact forms) had its buttons changed, as they became big, round and blue, which broke the whole layout.
The same thing happened on the forums plugin I use (Asgaros), not only on the topic/reply form, but also on the standard buttons (“new topic”, for example).
I’d like to know if there’s a way to prevent the theme from overlapping the default CSS of those plugins.
    Thanks in advance.

if there’s a way to prevent the theme from overlapping the default CSS of those plugins.

First off, make sure it’s your theme doing it.

To check, switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Twenty, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.

Thank you for the quick reply, @t-p
I’ve tested several themes, and this one is the only doing that, all others keep the original buttons on forms and never touch the forums’ design.

I also grabbed a piece of the theme’s CSS (I have very little idea what I’m doing, to be honest), placed it on the additional CSS of the customizer, made some changes on the rounded corners, and it reflected, so I’m pretty sure it’s the theme’s CSS…

I noticed you have two topics posted at your them’s dedicated support forum.

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/fixing-and-displaying-custom-post-types/?view=all

Please continue there at your theme’s dedicated support.

    I’ll be closing this one.
