"Preview Changes" Button Mis-functioning

    1. In any edit menu, after I change something, Upon pressing the “Preview Changes” button the new screen has the wrong address in the address bar and a 404 error message.

    The address in the address bar changes to:

    http://www.hrdusa.com/wp/wp-admin/post.php

    Please advise.

    Hi,

    Try using a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Fifteen and let me know if you’re also facing this error, or if it’s just with the theme. 🙂

    I just tried Twenty Fifteen and twenty fourteen and both sent me to the same (… post.php) address.

    Sounds like a problem with the WP installation. ?.?.?

    Yes, it’s probably an issue with your WordPress website, unfortunately. 🙂

    How do I save the data bases and content?

    Hi,

    You will find guides on that. You will have to delete all the WordPress files, excluding /wp-content/ folder and wp-config.php file.

    You don’t have to delete the database. But before you do that, post this about issue in the WordPress forum: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
