Hi rachelmalone try to deactivate all your plugins except this one and see if it works. If it does work then you know it is a compatibility issue with one or more plugins. If that does not work can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen.
Thank you
Hey mbrsolution, I tried deactivating all plugins and it didn’t work. I have the slideshow coded into my child theme, could that be causing the issue?
Thank you
If you set up your child theme correctly then no it should not be an issue. Have you tried to test one of WordPress default themes? Can you share your URL.
Thank you

i activated one of the default themes and inserted the shortcode into one of the pages and it still didn’t work 🙁
thank you for helping
Can you share what shortcode you are adding?
I have put this into the child theme template <?php do_action(‘slideshow_deploy’, ‘127’); ?>
tested this in twenty thirteen [slideshow_deploy id=’127’]
thank you
What have you enabled under Control Settings for the plugin?
can I make you a login? would that help??
Still not working, and the pagination buttons aren’t working either. Im going to try in again in the default theme with these settings to see if it works.
not working in default theme either. this is so weird, I have the plugin installed in another website with the same parent theme and it works fine.
Fixed it.
I changed ‘Animation used for transition between slides’ from crossfade to slide left and it is now working.
Must be an issue with the crossfade setting.
Thanks for helping.
I am glad you got it fixed 🙂 if you don’t require any more help can you mark this support tread as resolved.
Thank you
