    hi, use the theme in Italian language, and I would like to change the translation of the “previous page” and “next page”. On the server in the theme folder I do not find any translation file, while I find it in the wp-contet > Languages ​​folder. By modifying the .po and reloading the .po and .mo, no changes appear, even updating the cache or switching to English language and then back to Italian.

    This is correct, if you have saved the block with the English text, it is not translatable any longer because the translations do not work on text that is in the database.

    There are a few plugins that can be used to translate text in the database, but another option is edit the text in place where you added it and save the new text.
    It really depends on what you want to do and in how many places the text has been saved.
