You can translate the theme or only parts of it by using suitable plugins like Loco Translate – here you can find a step by step tutorial: How to translate WordPress themes with Loco Translate.
Thanks for the quick response, but I think that’s not what I mean. I need to find the place (css or something) where I can actually translate these two words manually.

You need to edit the single.php as per your need. In such a way you can achieve the desired output.

@phpexpert21: Overriding code within core theme files really isn’t how people should translate themes. Please don’t suggest such things, it’s bad practice and also will be lost after theme updates.
@silphya: You don’t need to work with code, especially not with CSS (that is for styling). Simply install the plugin and follow the instructions in the provided tutorial in order to translate these two strings manually.
@phpexpert21: Can you tell me where to find it?
@mh Themes: for instance, in the customizer I can customize the text “read more” and change it into the Dutch “lees verder”. I am looking for that option. I followed your link, but that doesn’t change it however.
@silphya: There is not such an option because these strings are part of the translation package. Usually free themes on ww.wp.xz.cn are translated here, but that will take some time until it applies because it needs to be validated by Global Translation Editors.
That’s why it would be recommended to manually translate it through the .po file on your site, either by using Loco Translate (as suggested before) or by manually editing the .po file, for example with PoEdit. That will work for sure, if done correctly.
