Hi,

I am offering a group trip on our website. If more people book the trip the price per person drops. I used variations for the group size and it looks like this:

At the top of the product page, Woocommerce displays a price range. I would like the ‘from’ price to be 925 peso, the price per person for a large group. But woo commerce does not recognise the per person price in the variations, only the total price.

Is there a way to solve this? (Different way to set up, a plugin or manually adjusting the ‘from’ price?)

WC can only show the actual prices you input, unless you customise the price with filters.

Question; do you have a maximum group size?

Thanks for the quick response! The maximum group size that can be booked is 9 persons, if the group is bigger guests can send an email.

Can i manually adjust the price range?

Thanks again for your help!
I’ve read the article and I understand more about what filters are now, but I don’t know how to write the filter. As it says in the article: “How to do this is beyond the scope of this article, but we aim to cover this in a future article in the session.” I also checked some other forums and google but i can’t find a snippet of code for someone with a similar problem that i can modify.

I will try to look further, but if you could help me out a little further that would be great.

Also, in case i do manage to set the from price manually to 925 will it change for all my products?

In the function you write you would need to check the product ID. If its this product, change price. Otherwise return the original price.

Add this code to you themes functions.php file, changing PRODUCT_ID for whatever the product are working on.
```
add_filter('woocommerce_variable_price_html', replace_variable_price');

function replace_variable_price($price) {

global $post;

if($post->ID == PRODUCT_ID) $price = "From 925 peso";

return $price;
}
```
