Hello @haberdas
thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
This is a fairly common issue and there are some items you need to check in order to get it resolved. First of all, you should check what notification you get when you onboard the plugin; when you are asked if you want to sync the prices, it will tell you why you cannot choose the price-sync option. This would give you a good clue; most of the time it will tell you that the settings between WooCommerce and Zettle are not the same.
Now here are the items you need to check:
– WooCommerce General settings – Here you need to make sure you Enable tax rates and calculations and have the same currency settings as you have on your Zettle profile.
– WooCommerce Tax settings – Here you need to make sure you have the same setting as you have on Zettle for Prices entered with tax
– WooCommerce Tax settings > tab Tax Class (this is probably Standard Rates or more if you utilize them) – Here you will have to have an entry and the correct tax amount entered. Most people that run into this issue, simply don’t have any entry or an incorrect entry here. The best way of finding out what you should have here is to leave most details as “*”
– Product settings – This is related to the previous item: you need to make sure you have the correct tax class assigned (standard rate is the default class).
If this does not help you to resolve the problem, we would ask you to provide us with the system report and the logs from our plugin. You can copy these log files from here:
– WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support
– WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “zettle-pos-integration-[…]” in the dropdown and click on view.
If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://zettle.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)
Kind regards,
Joost

Hello @haberdas
since we found out what was causing this issue, I will mark this thread as resolved.
For other people running into the same: the tax class was missing an entry; this was causing the price to not sync. After we added this tax class entry, we still needed to update the products in order to get them to sync the price to Zettle. This can be done by changing the products in bulk to “Draft” and then publishing them again. Or you can press the “update” button on the product page one-by-one if you don’t have many products.
If you have any more questions or encounter a new issue, please open a new thread.
Kind regards,
Joost
