Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!
Also, does this happen with other web browsers as well?

Tobias

Hi,
the link to the page
Table
thanks
Claus
Hi Claus,
thanks for the link! It seems that you have now also added the flip mode of the Responsive Tables Extension. Unfortunately, that’s interfering with the Print button a bit (because it applies the flipped layout to the Print view).
Can you maybe turn that off again for testing?
Now, having said that, I’m not sure how much influence we will have on the print layout then. As this is added by an external JavaScript library, our options are a bit limited. It might then be the best to use the browser print function.

Hi Tobias,
you are right, flip mode was on. But without flip mode (shortcode changed and plugin deactivated) the print result is the same as in the example above. To use the browser print function is not satisfactory. The whole page is printed and only the displayed part of the table.
Hi,
thanks for turning off the flip again. I now tested this on my computer (Google Chrome on a Mac) and here’s my print preview: https://imgur.com/a/R1GautD
I do see the borders on all pages…
So, it seems that this is either a browser problem or something local on your computer.

Hi Tobias,
I think your picture shows the print preview. The print preview on my pc is okay with all borders. The print from my physical printer or with FreePDF is out of order.

Claus
Hi Claus,
hmm, that’s strange. Unfortunately, I have no idea why that happens or how to fix it. Sorry 🙁

Hi Tobias,
never mind! I can live with that and thank you for your quick response.
May I ask another Questions?
In this thread bonargerodriguez describes the possibility to put the pdf output on landscape. Could you build a selection into the function, whether the output is portait or landsacpe in DIN A4 or include his code?
And as I see now in the pdf are no borders.
Thank you again and regards
Claus
Hi Claus,
yes, that’s a good solution for making the PDF landscape. I’m indeed planning to offer more options for this in the Extension in a future version, but this will still take some time. The PDF creation uses different code than the Print view, which is why the styling is different.
