    BuddyPress core does not have the ability to set visibility when making an activity update or a “post”.

    I assume you are using a plugin for this? If so, it would be up to that plugin to add this functionality. If not, can you elaborate?

    Apologies, didnt realize that status update privacy wasnt a buddypress thing. Its rtmedia that has it. Is there a way to combine the two by any chance?

    It would be up to rtMedia to add support for it since I’m unfamiliar with their plugin.
