    Hi there

We’re a company located in germany.
We’d like to work with MailPoet and sending newsletter using our own server. However, we have some questions relating to privacy and security. Where can i get advice?
Is there any data stream to foreign server? Which way data get exchanged? Is there anyone else that gets data (incl. ip addresses) from us?

An early reply will oblige. We’d like to evaluate, if MailPoet meets our legal requirements.

    Thank you in advance

    Thank you for your answer.
So far, it seems that data are only saved at the wordpress-server. Mails are generated by the MailPoet-Plugin and will be sent via our own server.
However, can you guarantee that data won’t be sent to somewhere/someone else (third party)?

    Hi,

MailPoet doesn’t do any sending ourselves – it’s a plugin installed on your site. We do not have access to any subscribers or sending from users.

So, as long as your site itself is secure, you’ll be fine.
