• Hi,

Does anyone know of a plug in or a way to achieve my aims below:

I would like to set up a site that allows each user a private page (it would be good if they went straight there once they logged in). This will not be public as it will contain personal information. The user will need to upload documents and add comments / edit text. This information must not be public though the users line manager(s) should be able to access this information.

I’d really appreciate some help! I’m not massively techie (so won’t be able to fiddle with APIs etc) but can work my way around the user interface of wordpress reasonably well

    Thanks,
    Anthony

  • If the users are Authors, they can create private posts. If line-managers are Editors, they can see all the private posts (and edit them). I think this is about as close as you can get without fiddling with APIs, although if you search for relevant plugins you might find one that gets you closer.
