Private Forum

Hi, I’m new to bbpress and just wondered if I can set up a private forum thats seen but not accessed by members and how do I invite members in to that forum. Do I need another plugin to do this. Thanks for any help

not quite sure I fully understand, but try this.

1. set up a private group who will have access to this forum

dashboard>settings>bbp private groups>group name settings

2. set up the forum you want and set the group to the same as above.

dashboard>forums>new (or edit one you already have)

and under content you’ll see a box called ‘Forum Groups’

3. then set each user that you want to have access to have that group

dashboard>users>all users and select the user and edit. You’ll see a list of private groups, and click the one you need.
