I’m creating a private portal for my clients under a subdomain, it there an easy way to add ‘Private Pages’ to the left admin menu just like ‘Posts’ and ‘Pages’? I can see this list if I delete a private page which takes me to edit.php?post_type=private-page. I just want an easy way to get here so I can see all active private pages without having to go into the user menu and hovering over every user to see if they have private page or not. Hopefully that makes sense?

Also, is there a way to create a private page for a specific user without bulk-adding one for every user or having to create a post and adding the shortcut? Just looking to make things as simple as possible.

    Many thanks,

    Raquel

  • Hello Raquel,

    Yes, this makes much sense.

I have already requested this from the development team and they say that they’re going to do it, but I don’t know when.

Until then you can manually create a link to http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=private-page

And about adding a private page for just one user, as far as I know is not possible. If you figure out a way to do it, please de let us know 🙂

    Cheers,
    Gabriel
