Private post notification

    Hi,
    When trying to post a notification when a new private post is created nothing is sendt. It works with post published but not private post.

    Thanks for your message.

    Do you have an SMTP plugin installed, such as Post SMTP? It comes with a log which can be useful in these situations.

    How are the notifications being created? Are they via a front-end form or via the WP Admin?
    Are you using the New Private Post notification?

    Hi! We have an email log plugin installed and i can see that no email is send when a new private post is made. it does send an email when using the public post notification.

    I’m not sure about your question “How are the notifications being created? Are they via a front-end form or via the WP Admin?”

    we make the notifications in the admin area

    – yes we are using the private post notification.

    Thanks for clarifying all of that.

    I’ve just tested but it’s triggering the notification without issue for me.

    It’s possible it’s a plugin conflict though.
    Please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?
