private profile search

    Hi,

    The profiles of all members are private but being an administrator I can see all the members but the search does not work.
    Would it be possible for the search to work only for the administrator?

    Hi qwinder,

    You can create a private page and add the form shortcode there. This way only the administrator will be able to open the page and submit the search form.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    The problem is that the search does not find user profiles since they are in private.

    Is there a way to override this restriction for the administrator ?

    Sorry, I don’t have access to a copy of the Profile Visibility Manager plugin so I can’t take a look.

    I suggest you contact BuddyDev and see if they have a solution. I’m available to cooperate, please keep me informed!
