    Hey @gastbrand ,

    That’s a great question.

Yes, you can make your website visible only after log-in! For example, we’ve seen the Content Control plugin used as a coming soon plugin so that only admins and web developers can access the site.

To do that, you can create a restriction for all of your posts, pages, products, and custom post types.

Here’s an example (please read the description for each screen capture):

    General settings: https://share.wppopupmaker.com/Wnuq4YKo

    Protection settings: https://share.wppopupmaker.com/L1uWxd4g

    Content settings: https://share.wppopupmaker.com/NQuxqwdq

Using these settings, the WordPress login page displays when anyone who’s not logged in tries to access any post or page on your site. So, it’s not necessary to make your homepage a login page (it’s better that way).

You still can make your homepage a login page, but you’d need a make a custom login page yourself or use another 3rd-party plugin to make one for you. We don’t recommend this because if your custom login page isn’t set up correctly, it causes a redirect loop (common error). Again, it’s better and more convenient to use the built-in WordPress login page.

    We hope that helps.

Let us know if you need anything else.

    Have a great day 🙂

    Mark
