    Hello,

I want to make my website only visable for certain people (except for maybe a home page/ login page). After logging in, I want other header menu items to be visable, like our online shop and other pages. This doesn’t work properly. I’ll try to recreate this:

    • I go to https://www.e-hc.nl/portal/login-pagina/ (login page)
    • I’m automatically logged in as admin so I log out
    • After logging out I see 4 items in my header menu that are ‘Home, Collections, Shop ‘sale’, Shop’. This is strange, because I deleted ‘collections’ and ‘shop ‘sale”. The second ‘Sale’ header item should be invisable, while I’m logged out, but is visable.
    • I log in again and see that the header changed (in a good way): the deleted header items aren’t visable anymore and all the other header items that were restricted are now visable. However, when logged out again, I can still see the previous 4 items that shouldn’t be visable.

Also, when I go to a restricted page when logged out, let’s say ‘https://www.e-hc.nl/portal/shop/‘, the products are not displayed, but the page itself is loading, while it should redirect me automatically to the login page.

How can I fix this? Hope you can help.

    Kind regards,

    Jozua Holstege

    Hello there,

I visited the link and there was no header menu at all. Further more, when visiting the /porta/shop page you mentioned it should redirect you to the login page. When I visited that page it did redirect me to the login page instead of loading the empty page.

You mentioned being able to see the items in the header menu even after deleting them. Are you by any chance using any caching solutions? This might be a separate plugin or a feature provided by your hosting service. If so, please make sure you exclude the affected pages from being cached or briefly disable this feature and try again to see if the problem still persist.
