    Hey y’all,

    I have a site that I want to do that following:

    – Create custom role
    – Only allow that role to see 1 Custom Post Type
    – They can edit and update that custom post type
    – They can also edit custom taxonomies of that custom post type

    So far I was able to limit access to the custom post type but for some reason all of the custom taxonomies are not able to be updated. They’re visible on the page but they’re blocked out.

    Is that a feature of the pro plugin? If so I have no issues upgrading to pro but I wasn’t sure if I was doing something wrong.

    Hi Freddie,

    Custom taxonomy may be created such way that it still requires ‘edit_posts’ capability. Just try to check that.

    Pro version may help to block access to WP built-in posts even if user has ‘edit_posts’ capability. Use dedicated site contact form if you have additional questions about Pro version.
