    Hi,

I have a problem from 4-5 days. The problem is related to Analytics. So, when users don’t click on “Accept” on your cookie banner, Analytics doesn’t count the visit. This cause me problems, because my website went from 120 visit per day, to 20/30. When I disable your plugin, the visits counted right.

Maybe I set something wrong in the Analytics section of the setup of your plugin. Can you help me?

    Regards

    Hi @piergio1,

It actually sounds like you’ve set this up correctly, as you will almost certainly have to obtain consent for Statistics cookies, such as those that are created when using Google Analytics.

In countries such as Italy, the use of Google Analytics could even be denied entirely (see: https://edpb.europa.eu/news/national-news/2022/italian-sa-bans-use-google-analytics-no-adequate-safeguards-data-transfers_en).

If you want to proceed by loading Google Analytics without consent (not recommended), you can change this in the Wizard under Consent -> Statistics – configuration, by answering “Do you want to obtain consent for Statistics” with No.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi,

thank you. I founded. I have a question: is Google Consent Mode the solution? I read that, even with a reject, with Google consent Mode we can track something

    Hi @piergio1,

An integration with Google Consent Mode V2 is recommended to conform with the upcoming Google requirements, although whether that would also result in “more data” is not something I can confirm for you.

Consent Mode V2 is available in the Premium version of the Complianz plugin, please find the set-up instructions here: https://complianz.io/consent-mode-for-7-0/

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hello,

The plugin is wonderful but it affects the evaluation of web traffic with analytics.

I had it set to “not” need acceptance and it was working poorly, now I have included the analytics id to see if it works well.

    It will be enough?

If not, I plan to disconnect the plugin because SEO is essential for any business.

    Thank you

    Hi @marcoalmendros,

Note that you must also set the question “Does your website target visitors from Spain…” to No under Wizard -> General -> Visitors to load Analytics without consent, as it’s always required to ask consent for statistics in these cases.

If you have further questions about your configuration, please open a separate thread.

    Kind regards, Jarno
