    Hi guys !
I have a problem with the form I made this morning.
The form works when the page is in draft mode, once I publish the page, it doesn’t work anymore.
The icon of sending keeps turning on and on and on.
Even if I don’t completed the required field, it doesn’t display anything.

    I already tried to :
-Desactivate the theme and activate another one
-Delete CF7 and install it again
-Turn off all the plugins (except cf7)
-Try it on IE, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera
-Try it on windows 8.1, windows 7 and Linux

I tried with another plugins and it’s doing the same thing, the form is not working.
Sorry for my poor english, I really need help here.

This is most likely due to a JavaScript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using – see Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers JavaScript Conflicts.

Step by step approach to finding JavaScript Conflicts

    1. Switch temporarily to a WordPress default theme (Twenty Eleven etc.) and see if the problem goes away.

If it does, you’ve most likely got a JavaScript conflict with your current WordPress theme.

If switching to default theme doesn’t help it could be one of the plugins you are using that is causing the problem.

    2. Disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7

If doing that solves the problem, you can then add back each item – one by one, until you find the real cause of the problem.

You will need to disable, temporarily, ALL JavaScript, other than that from CF7, including anything in your theme (switch temporarily to a default theme), if you want to get to the source of the problem.

As I said in my first post, I’ve already done that and it doesn’t work…
Here are the source code in draft mode (where the form works), and in published mod…
I hope it’s gonna help you to find an answer to my problem.

Hopefully someone else will be willing to offer you further assistance.

    @guilec
Same problem here. The form is working fine when viewing the post in Draft mode. But when it’s published no data seems to being submitted.

Have also disabled all scripts and plugins (except Contact Form 7) but the problem still exists. Still have to try out a different theme. Will post back when I have more info on this.

Didn’t fix. Will now reinstall Contact Form 7..

Even a reinstall didn’t fix it.

Did you manage to find a fix already? You’re the first one I found that posted about this problem so it seems to be quite a rare one.

What kind of server are you on? The site I’m working with is running on a Windows server which seems to have caused more weird problems. Maybe this is one of them..

Hi, sorry for the late answer…
I had to re-install the entire site from the beginning, apparently the wordpress version had a mistake and that conflitcs with cf7.
It’s fine now, I hope you found a solution to your problem too.

Okay thanks. I haven’t tried a complete reinstall. In the end I programmed a simple plugin myself 🙂
