Problem adding link to newsletter

When I try to add a link to our website in at the bottom of a newsletter, the link is duplicated when you click on it in the sent newsletter. In other words, when the newsletter arrives and I click on the link, it takes me to http://dudleyreunion2016.com/dudleyreunion2016.com, rather than dudleyreunion2015.com. I build the link in the editor by defining the text and clicking on the link icon. I enter the url and say open in a new window, but am not sure what the title should be. Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks, Neal
