Hey,
Can you please also let me know what version of WooCommerce you are using? Also, does the error still occur when only Woo + Gift Wrapper plugins are enabled (all others disabled)?
Thank you

Hi,
WooCommerce version 2.6.14
I think since one of the last updated of either wordpress or woocommerce it is not working anymore.
Before I have 3 options as gift wraps and worked fine but now just discovered this issue by chance, so don’t know how many clients actually left my page because the cart was emptied..
Did you try running a test cart with *only* WooCommerce and the Gift Wrapper plugin running? It sounds like a plugin conflict, and narrowing it down to Gift Wrapper is harder for me to do considering I am unable to duplicate the problem (I am also running 1.3.3 with 2.6.14). Also, you’re the only person I’ve heard from, which makes me even more concerned it’s your particular installation. Once you have it narrowed to those two plugins, and (maybe it works then?), then start activating your other plugins one by one to figure out which is the culprit. It could also be your theme somehow interfering.
I’d love to spend more time on this plugin, but the pay grade doesn’t afford me the time. If you find a conflict with a major plugin or theme, I will work on that.

I have a live online shop and cannot deactivate all other plugins risking other things not to work afterwards.
Since I last tested with 3 gift options and now I have not installed any new plugins, the only thing is I have removed 2 gift options, only 1 left.
only other plugin installed in the meantime is WPML
I also run numerous live online shops… at some point you should consider having a development site on your local server, or even another twin site hosted, so that you can troubleshoot things like this without disrupting traffic. Many times when people come to me with plugin issues like this, it’s plugin or theme conflicts that are out of my hands, so unless you’re able to help by either doing some troubleshooting on your end or giving me an admin login to your site, my hands are tied.

how can I clone the current site to run it on my local server to test?
giving me an admin login to your site
Just a note here. This isn’t the place to request or post log on information:

Thanks @bdbrown, I was actually hoping he would not provide that to me, because this level of support is well beyond what we can offer for the plugin price. 🙂
I am sorry this doesn’t seem to be working for you. If you can’t go through the usual WordPress troubleshooting of deactivating all plugins and using a WordPress theme like twentysixteen, then as I said, my hands are tied. Please Google how to set up a development site using your local server. It’s daunting but worth learning, especially if you’re diving into e-commerce. You might take a look at your error logs (if you have error logging enabled) and see what that says. As I said, I’m pretty sure without looking that it’s a plugin or theme conflict.
@bdbrown Above and beyond. Thank you.
@littlepackage – thanks, and you’re welcome.
I have updated this plugin and wonder if the undesirable cart behavior continues for you using version 1.4, or if you have moved on. I would love to see this resolved!
