Hi there,
Can you tell us your site’s URL? Then we can check for any issues on our end.
It appears that XML-RPC is disabled on that site: when I try to view the page at https://globaltechgadgets.com/xmlrpc.php, I just get redirected to the home page, and that shouldn’t happen.
Jetpack uses XML-RPC to communicate with your site, so if that is disabled or access to it is being restricted, Jetpack won’t work.
Please contact your hosting provider and make sure they haven’t disabled that. Also check for any security plugins on your site that might be blocking and restricting access.
You can find more information here:
https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/fixing-jetpack-connection-issues/#check-xmlrpc-php
We have to update jetpack IP adress and allow them in XMLRPC. Please tell the IPs again so we can update it.
Hey there,
You can find the list of IPs here:
https://jetpack.com/support/hosting-faq/
Thanks!
So, we updated the IPs, still we saw the same error in dashboard. May be this is due to new Jetpack update? Because everything was working before since 2 years even we had disabled XMLRPC and allowed only those IPs.
Your hosting setup is not allowing Jetpack to communicate with your site, so this is something that can only be fixed on your hosting provider’s end.
A Jetpack update cannot cause this, as it has nothing to do with the plugin itself. If there was a change that caused this, that change happened at your hosting provider.
I am searching the cause. Please wait.
UPDATE: Problem is automatically solved. We didn’t find exact solution. May be it was bug in the update.
Thanks for letting us know that everything works correctly now.
I’ll mark this thread as resolved. If you experience any other issue, feel free to open a new one.
