    Hi

I have an attribute called SIZE, which has a large number of entries.. (240 of them to be precise). I know this attribute should be split into a number, but it is not…

Now i’m having issues adding or editing variable products that use SIZE as the attribute. Not all attribute values are shown, so there is no way to add them.

    For example, in this URL

    https://www.watersportswarehouse.co.za/product/oneill-hyperfreak-wind-43-wetsuit/

you will see I cannot add the size M (So we created a new size M. and added that.)

But this is wrong, I need to fix… My Size filters look weird, so it’s a problem)

    Any suggestions?

    regards, Bruce

    I’ve done more troubleshooting…

The issue seems to be that I cannot assign some attributes to a product. As an example, I cannot add the size M to a product as an attribute. M is simply not in the list of sizes in the product add. If I type in M in the add attribute I do get a list of attributes. (It seems around 50 are shown. The last 30 attributes with M in them are simply not shown, and M is in the bottom half, so cannot be selected)

I’ve reverted my theme to Storefront default, I’ve deactivated everything except for woocommerce (and wordfence)…

I can try rollbacking to earlier versions of woocommerce, but which do I choose…

    Hello @brucemacg,

    Thank you for reaching out!

The team is already aware of this issue: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/37548

At the time being, we can’t give you an estimated for when the team will look into or fix the issue as bug reports are prioritised based on a few criteria. If you’d like to receive updates, please subscribe to the comments.

The current workaround per this comment is to edit the data-limit= value in plugins>woocommerce>includes: admin/meta-boxes/views/html-product-attribute-inner.php .

If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, consider hiring a WooExpert. :‎)

    Cheers!

I submitted a PR here so this can be customized with a filter instead of editing the plugin files every time an update is released.

Not sure if the developers will accept the solution, but if they do you can check the “MileStone” field in the sidebar to know in which WooCommerce version it will be implemented.

You can also subscribe to receive updates. :‎)

I’ll be marking the thread as solved for now, feel free to create a new one if you have any other questions.

    Cheers!
