    Hello,

My blog is still under maintenance. I cannot access it anymore. I tried to delete the .maintenance file (in the cpanel file manager) but I cannot find it even though I checked the show hidden files box. What should I do?

and just for your information, i’m using the version 4.6.1.

I would be really thankful for any help.

    Hello @marjoleinderooij,

If you can’t access the dashboard (wp-admin), I recommend to remove/rename the plugin from /wp-content/plugins/ directory and delete/empty the cache (if you have a cache plugin).
Also, next time you should use the “Exclude” option if you have a different login URL.

    Thanks.

PS: this plugin does not create any .maintenance file

    Hello,
    Same problem as marjoleinderooij.
I found the directory but I don’t have a cache plugin.
    What to do?
    Hope you can help.

    Hello @baukjen50,

Delete/Rename the plugin from plugin’s directory if you don’t have access to the dashboard (wp-admin).

    Thanks.

    Renaming did the trick.
And then excluded the login name.
    Back online 😉
    Thanks for the great support!

    You’re welcome! 😉
