Problem Display Images

Hello,
My current WP configuration:

- WordPress version: 5.1.1
- PHP/MySQL version: 7.2.16 / 5.5.5.5
- Theme used: Allegiant
- URI Theme: https://cpothemes.com/theme/allegiant
- Extensions in place: Contact Form 7 (5.1.1), CPO Companion (1.0.2), Forum_wordpress_en (4.1), Jetpack by WordPress.com (7.1.1), Regenerate Thumbnails (3.1.0), WooCommerce (3.5.7), YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode (1.6.5), YITH WooCommerce Quick View (1.3.7)

Problem(s) encountered :

Question 1 :

I have a small problem with the display of pictures of my products in my WooCommerce catalog because I can’t find the right settings to make my images look consistent.
The main problem is that they are trimmed (in height or width) if I set the parameters to a predefined dimension and leave my images all have different sizes on unframed. I would like the images to be all identical but instead of cropping my photos, they should be resized to display the entire image.

Question 2 :
When I display the product categories, below the picture is the category name and in brackets the number of products in the category highlighted in yellow.
Is it possible to remove the display of the number of products in the category?
Is it possible to display the name of the category in the photo rather than below it or when the mouse moves over the photo the name of the category is displayed in the photo?
Is it possible that the photos are attached to each other rather than having a larger space between them.
