Problem displaying testimonials in a tab

I am having a problem displaying testimonials within a tab.

I have 3 testimonials that I want to rotate but the first time the tab is opened all 3 testimonials are displayed in a single character width column, so it’s very long and unreadable.

Once the testimonial scrolls on it’s all fine.

… then select the Workshops tab. I have temporarily set autoplay=”false” so it doesn’t correct itself.

The same testimonial slider is used on a different page which isn’t in a tab and this one works fine:
