Since I updated apple pay has disappeared. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve it myself, I have checked the source of each page to see if it was simply out of position ( hidden under an element ) nope.

I have re-authenticated with stripe for the domain.

    I have uploaded a new authentication file ( .well-known )

I have unchecked request buttons and saved, then re-checked it and saved again.

I have checked the logs for errors relating to https://js.stripe.com

Domain is in test mode, using TEST API KEY/Secret ( did not matter before )

*.domain.com* is under SSL. ( all pages are secure )

I am at a loss… reaching out for some hope haha any ideas?

    Hey xolite,

If this is something that happened after you updated to Stripe 4.0.0, I’d recommend unchecking the ‘Payment Request Buttons’ option in the Stripe settings, saving, then checking it again and saving again. Since that option was changed in that version it might just need a refresh. 🙂

Give that a try and let me know if that resolves the issue or not.

    Thanks!

I have tried this and the following:

I have removed the plugin and re-installed it, disabled all my other plugins to check for conflicts, error log ( nothing ) is there a way to test if the buttons are being called and generate an error if they cannot be displayed so I can locate the issue.

Thank you for the reply, appreciate it!

Website is in development and requires a password for access, prefer not to make it public. How would I give it to you privately?

I am guessing this is not an option to give it to you privately?

Want to update this thread with the resolution.

When I first signed up for apply pay when stripe first released it, it only required authorization for the top level domain name. If the request was from http://www.domain.com it was still authorized, subdomains at that time still needed their own authorization.

Now, “www” is treated as a subdomain, I only had authorization setup for “domain.com” and did not catch the change. Hope that helps someone else out, thank you to everyone who helped figuring this out ( so simple hey? )
