    Hello Blocksy Support,

I was able to install the companion plugin on a clean theme install without any problems. However, after I changed the theme folder’s name (both parent and child) and then tried to install the plugin again, I have this error:

    Something went wrong.

The requested theme does not exist.

Keep in mind that I properly changed the theme name (both child and parent) in style.css and also changed the “template” name to my parent theme name. So the styling and everything works fine, but I can’t install the companion plugin and it throws an error.

Please let me know if you can assist.

    Hello @ivmic0

That is actually correct, I’m afraid. Sadly, we do not support renaming the parent theme files due to compatibility and integration reasons. The parent theme folder must remain named “Blocksy”, otherwise things can break.

If you wish to hide that you’re using a specific theme, you may want to take a look at this plugin – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-hide-security-enhancer/ – as it is widely supported.

    Hope this clears things up!

    Thanks.
