• Hi there
We are a small tech-company from Switzerland and are having different issues with WordPress. First of all, I couldn’t login with my blog-account and had to create a new login, therefore my page here is empty.
1st issue: We shared the link to the WordPress English article on Social Media, but the preview always showed the German article. But when you clicked on the German preview link, you got to the English article.
2nd issue: We also have problems with formatting. For example, blank lines sneak into the text from time to time and we just can’t get them out no matter how often we delete them.

    The affected page is blog.jacando.com
Sounds like a bug to us. Could installed plug-ins be the problem or the missing software update?

    Thank you for your help.

    Lena

Your WordPress site has no relationship to the ww.wp.xz.cn site. So your “blog-account” is for your site and so of course you had to create an account to post a question here on the forums (which is an unrelated site).

For your issue with German versus English, when you say “preview link”, where is that link? If it is in the editor, it could be affected by a plugin you use for languages. If it is on the social media site, WordPress has no control over what that social site does.

For your formatting issue, the classic editor supplies the paragraph tags whenever you put a blank line in the editor. If you use the Text mode instead of Visual, you can remove them more easily. The 4.9.9 update is not about that, but it is a security fix, so you would be better off with it than 4.9.8. You can use a plugin like WP Downgrade if you want to stay away from WP 5.
