Problem loading images in new version

    I am uploading images via FTP and then I just enter the URL plus caption and alignment. However with this new version 3.5, I can’t. Is there any way to do it. I am reluctant to use the image drop and gallery for personal reasons, taste, control and performance; in addition that my ISP is picky in changing file permissions. I loved the way it was before because the option was provided. How can do it in the new version?

    Any ideas are welcome. Thank you.
