Problem on multilingual site

    Hello.

    We have multilingual site (English = default, German) and are experiencing some problems with the translation of the breadcrumbs. We use polylang for translating.

    1. On our German site, the breadcrumbs always link to the English home url.

    2. Root pages for custom post types aren’t translated.

    We would appreciate if you could assist us with these issues.

    If I remember correctly, Polylang for some reason doesn’t translate the results for get_home_url(). As for the root pages, since that’s not fully a native WordPress thing so you need some exta code to help support translating that. There is an extension (premium) for Breadcrumb NavXT which adds support for translating both of these in Polylang.
