• Usually when I try to log in to a 2FA enabled login using Admin Custom Login, I am redirected to the php login screen, enter my details again and get the 2FA enter code screen.
Just prior to installing WordPress 5.8, with no other plugins recently updated, My administrator login which has 2FA enabled would no longer load the php login page completely, (The tab scrolling circle kept scrolling) and if I entered login details it just gave me the reset php login page again and wordfence registers a failed login. After a few attempts I was temporarily locked out.
It does this with both Chrome and Edge.
Once back in via cPanel I found disabling 2FA meant I could log in again.
Setting up a new user and 2FA again and the problem recurs.
If I go directly to the php login page, everything works fine, enter my details, 2FA screen comes up, enter code and logs in. (I am using Authy to generate the 2FA code.
I am running WordPress 5.8 and Admin log in 3.2.7 – ie most recent versions. I have the work around mentioned above but wondered if anyone else was finding this problem, and whether it is fixable.

  • Hi martincs,

Thanks for using our plugin and sorry for the delay response.

    – We checked your issue and 2FA setting is not available with reCaptcha v2 and v3

    – It is available with reCaptcha enterprise edition and our plugin provide only reCaptcha v2 and v3.

    – But we will try to add that option if it is possible.

Thank you for using our plugin
