Problem receiving emails on gmail addresses

    Hello,

    I’m having a problem receiving emails on gmail addresses.

    When I set up a gmail address as the recipient of contact requests, likewise when I’m a customer and I fill in the form with a gmail address, I don’t receive the forms in my mailbox. But when I use a hotmail address, it works. Can you please help me to understand why?

    Hi @alexisfontana74,

    We barely find this type of issue with Gmail. Gmail is the most convenient way to receive email. Please check your spam/junk folder on your Gmail end, if the email reaches there. Also, check your SMTP status on your server end with this plugin.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I have installed WP Mail SMTP and when I send an email to @gmail.com, I get the following error message:

    The mailer you’ve selected (mail) is not currently supported by our Domain Checker.

    I get the same message when I send to an @hotmail.fr address.

    However, I do receive the contact requests sent when I use the hotmail address.

    Can you please help me to understand?

    Hi,

    There are a few options you can check in the WP mail smtp plugin. WP Mail SMTP supports different mailer options, such as SMTP, SendinBlue, and other email services. Changing the mailer to one of these supported options can resolve the issue. To do this, go to the WP Mail SMTP settings in your WordPress dashboard and update the mailer settings to use SMTP or another supported mailer.

    Ensure that your email configuration (SMTP settings, sender email, etc.) is correctly set up within WP Mail SMTP. You can also get help from your hosting support regarding this matter.
