Hi,
I’ve just checked it on 3 different sites using WordPress 4.0 and the editor always looked fine.
I’ve indeed observed the “line over line” effect in the past, but only on my Mac, not on a Windows machine.
Could you please give some more details:
1) Which operating system are you using ?
2) Which browser ?
3) “render with error” –> does it mean you get some JavaScript errors or warnings or do you only see a grey area or this line over line effect ?
If I can’t reproduce it, I can check whether there is a newer version of the JavaScript library for the editor and provide you with an update. But it’d be better if I could manage to have the same setup you have and reproduce the issue.
Regards,
Henri
Hello dear, thanks for support
1) Which operating system are you using ?
Windows 8
2) Which browser ?
Firefox last version

Line over line effect
OK, I’ve tested on Windows 7 with Firefox 32.0.3 and cannot see the issue. So, I’ll check tonight on a Windows 8.1 machine (don’t have a Windows 8 machine).
Have you checked whether you have the same problem in other browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari…) ?
One thing you could also try is to go to Plugins\Editor, select WP Advertize It in the box in the top right corner, press Select, then select the file wp-advertize-it/edit_area/edit_area_full.js and search for “opacity:0.2”. There replace opacity:0.2 by opacity:0
Press “Update file”. Go to the WP Advertize It settings and press Ctrl-Shift-R to be sure that the page is really fully reloaded.
Let me know it it helps.
Ok, since it’s not the first time there were display issues with the EditArea-based editor and EditArea doesn’t seem to be maintained anymore, I moved to the ACE editor in version 0.7. Please install it and let me know what you think.
Thanks for the moment works fine, thanks
