    Hello,

    i’m having difficulties to set up the jetpack plugin. I recently exported my wp.com site, so i’ve been trying to make it look just like it was there. I installed the jetpack without a trouble, but when i try to ‘set up’, it doesn’t work. There are two errors that appears when im trying to install:

    if I try to do it directly from wp.com goes error 504.
    if I try to do it on wp.org manually sometimes appears error 500.

    I already tried to deactivate other pluggins, instllaing/reinsatlling and keeping the site theme with the generic one.

    I don’t know if the problem is beacause I just recently exported the site or if it is a client or host problem.

    I’ve noticed your Jetpack connection isn’t working quite as it should. Could you try disconnecting Jetpack from your WordPress.com account and connect it again?

    Can you confirm exactly what you are trying to set up or do when the error message appears?

    I don’t know if the problem is beacause I just recently exported the site or if it is a client or host problem.

    500 errors indicate server issues so I recommend contacting your host as a first step. They should be able to check their logs and confirm what caused that error to be triggered.

    When I try to install Jetpack in my wp.org I have no problems, but when the istallation is over it says that I have to ‘start up’ Jetpack, it says exactly this:

    You’re almost done. Set up Jetpack to boost your site performance and unlock powerful customization, marketing, and security tools.

    Connect to WordPress.com (free) to set up Jetpack and get started!

    after clicking ‘set up Jetpack’ sometimes goes error 504 (in wp.org)

    Hi @jmirusr,

    Thanks — here’s what I recommend from here:

    1. Deactivate and fully delete Jetpack and then install, activate and connect to WordPress.com again, so you have a completely fresh install.

    2. If that doesn’t help, please contact your host for more information about error logs appearing on their side.

    We can use that information to look at the best way forward from here.
