Same problem for me, site is not yet online.
When I use “upcoming” in the widget, it shows names and dates all right (but only for the current year, so dates after december 31 are not shown, although in options I chose 365 days).
But the shortcode does not seem to work. I would like a list of all users (max 80) in one list.
I hope that someone can help out.
@marionfw in the new version 1.7.4 upcoming template works with shortcode.
You will have to set it’s mode (in settings) to either days with birthdays or consecutive days and then set the corresponding value to 80 (or whatever you’ll like).
Then you shall customize the CSS to your liking, maybe an easy way will be setting class birthday_date to display: none

The issue you mentioned about next’s years birthdays is a bug we haven’t found till now, thank you for sharing. We ‘ll fix it in next version 1.7.5 probably.
@marionfw
Problem with 365 days is solved in version 1.7.5 Thank you for mentioning it.
I just updated and I am having a problem with birthdays showing after December 31 instead of upcoming from current date. I only want to show 4 upcoming days, and I’m getting dates from January instead of September. You can see it here: FOP Lodge 46
I decided to go back to 1.7.4 and the issue is resolved. There must be a problem with upcoming in version 1.7.5.
Your problem should be solved in the next versions.
