Problem update post and featured image

    Hello,

    Only when NextGEN Gallery plugin is active. Always when I update post content the WP’s featured image disappears. I have to go to edit mode again and set it once again. Very annoying.

    Is it possible to turn off “Set NextGEN Featured Image” option?

    Hi @laetitia-godet,

    This is not an issue we could replicate. Could you please let us know what editor/builder are you using and if this issue is replicable while using the default WP Gutenberg builder creating a new post for this purpose?

    There’s no such a setting that’d allow disabling the "Set NextGen Featured Image" option at this time.

    If you have have used NGG Featured Images from the far past, you may want to access "NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Miscellaneous" and press "Update legacy page featured images".

    We are actually on lastest WP version (5.9.3) and your lastest NextGen version (3.24) and using Gutenberg builder. Here is a video to explain our problem :

    I also expirence the lost of the featured image.
    It happens when I update the post.
    The strange thing is that the _thumbnail_id is replaced with ngg_post_thumbnail with meta value 0. The record with the featured image as attachment is also deleted from the table.
