    Hi all,

since I guess today I have the problem that I can not add a pod content into a custom field.

The custom field is called “rechte_spalte”. If I add the code [pods name=”telegramm” orderby=”date DESC” limit=”20″ template=”telegramme”] and update the page, the code simply is deleted. No difference between visual and text editor. Every where else the plugin as well as the code works propper.

Some days ago, it worked. There were two updates of the plugin from 2.9.1 to 2.9.3 in the meantime. I restored to 2.9.1 but the problem is still there.

Can someone tell me whats wrong?

    Thanks and regards

    wamuena

Edit: temporarily I added the code in the main column as quick solution, the content should be on the right column under the headline “Aktuelle Termine”.

    Hi @wamuena

This sounds like a possible theme/plugin conflict.
    Could you check?

I also tried to switched to a standard theme in the health check mode. The difference to my current theme is, that the code is shown on the website but not the content I want to see.

    Any other tips?

This would mean that your current theme isn’t parsing shortcodes.
    Is this a custom theme?
If so, make sure that your page/post content is run through apply_shortcodes function or through the the_content filter.

    Hi Jory,

frankly I have no idea where to look after this settings.

Just to be clear: the theme in principle works with the pods plugin. Only within the customized fields it does not work. The code is not saved in the field, it is simply deleted after updating the page.

When I start health check mode and switch to a standard theme, then I see the code directly without any function.

    Thanks for your support!

Topic is solved. Within the custom fields, shortcodes were not allowed (advanced option). I don’t know how I changed this accidentally…
