Problem when moving sub directory install to view in root

Hi, I am having the same problem as the user in this link, in that my Custom CSS is no longer applied to my site after moving my site to my root directory:
I’ve read through the responses and seeing that the relevant code in plugins\simple-custom-css\includes\public.php has been edited, assume that this issue has been already been resolved.
However, I am having the exact same issue right now, and would appreciate any advice on how to fix this, as I want to continue using this useful plugin. Thank you.
