    Today the plugin auto-updated.

An error of type E_USER_ERROR was caused in line 24 of the file /wp-content/plugins/simple-tags/vendor/composer/platform_check.php. Error message: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 7.2.5”. You are running 7.0.33-0+deb9u6.

This is at odds with the information on the plugin page which states PHP 5.6 or higher.

    I am running PHP 7.0.33

My solution: I disabled the plugin.
